In 1988 Pastors Jim & Janet Brannon and their two (then) young sons, moved to the Livermore valley with a desire to establish a church where people could find the Lord and become involved in the ministry of communicating God’s love to hurting humanity.
From the humble beginnings of a few faithful people, Christian World has experienced growth. Such growth challenged the young church to purchase their first building in 1992 located at 486 South ‘J’ street in Livermore. The Lord provided provision for a great vision and after 6 years to the day, on Labor Day weekend in 1998 the Christian World family moved to its present location at 3820 East Ave. in Livermore.
The Christian World Church family is a “Spirit filled” congregation commited to the “Great Commission” and proclaiming the gospel to every creature. Starting from our own front door, to our own city, to our “own world” and reaching out to the surrounding Tri-valley area, we are sharing His love.
We believe that what the Lord did in His physical body is to be continued in His spiritual body. It is our desire to be a part of what the Lord is doing in our world today. We are focused on “doing what the Lord will bless” and not simply ask Him to “bless what we are doing.” It’s His work, His Kingdom we are laboruors together with Him.
Our objective is obivious, our focus is clear and, our goal is obtainable. It’s His church. We pursue him with all we have and with all that we are, for His glory.
Our Purpose:
Luke 10:27 "…'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.'" (NLT)
TO LOVE GOD WITH ALL…
1) Heart--What we feel.
2) Soul--What we are.
3) Strength--What we do.
4) Mind--What we think.
So our neighbors will know His love and mercy!
